“Best Attribution Tracking for Marketing Teams”

What do you like best?

With CallRail, I can accurately track the attribution of leads from phone calls and forms. It allows me to show ROI to my clients even when their own tracking software is all messed up. Also, I work primarily with mental health professionals so HIPAA compliant package is a must.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I actually don’t have much more to add here.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There’s isn’t a better product, in my opinion, for form tracking and showing lead attribution.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Honestly, it’s the attribution of leads. While I do track some phone calls, it’s mostly the fantastic form capturing that CallRail provides. I use WordPress and Contact7 for all my forms and CallRail gets them all. Then I’m able to easily show ROI and accurate lead counds. I manage Google Ads and the tracking and attribution is better than Google Ads’ own reporting. Again, I can stress the attribution aspect of CallRail. Many times, my clients’ own lead tracking systems are broken and I can always point back to CallRail to show attribution.

“Please Check your Pool of Numbers”

What do you like best?

For almost 2 years, CallRail worked pretty flawlessly.Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not until recently, several phone numbers became bad. Customers or consumers calling in were prompted with a “this number is no longer in service.” Because of the issue, I called CallRail Support. They were responsive and wanted to trouble-shoot the situation on their end (after they confirmed it was nothing on our end), but I became very concerned when I went through the list and found a much larger number of phone numbers that were disconnected. Only way they were able to troubleshoot was if I left the pool of numbers of active, but knowing how many bad numbers there were, I couldn’t afford to keep it on. So I simply started a whole new pool of numbers. Low and behold, more bad numbers. I don’t think CallRail quality checks their phone numbersReview collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tracking source of inbound calls

“Easy to use and great data gained from all types of marketing campaigns.”

Pros: Several years ago, call tracking used to be done by hardcoding the tracking number into your website and that is not ideal for SEO. However, when I stumbled upon CallRail I fell in love with the ease of use, SEO-friendliness, and call data. The dynamic number insertion is so clutch! I currently have over 100 websites using CallRail and it is crucial to proving the value of my marketing efforts.
Cons: The reporting takes a little time to get the hang of, but once you’ve got it down – it isn’t too bad.

What the Interwebs Say

Users are mostly happy with the service provided by CallRail, most of them highlight its capability to integrate with Google Analytics and its feature to show ROI to clients. Also, they are satisfied with the software’s SEO-friendliness and using it as office lines so you don’t have to give your personal number. Some of them complain about an issue with numbers being randomly disconnected and the tool’s feature of reporting being a bit difficult to understand.
