Pros:

“And the awesome support, which is helping you with any concern, even if it is not directly related to the platform of Opteo but rather about Google Ads on a more general level.”

“This is a great product overall. We’ve had amazing responsiveness and readiness from the Opteo team to adapt to our needs which is huge for us as we grow.”

“The best for team (and self..) motivation is the way Opteo makes it easy to work continously to make incremental improvements with an overview of hundreds of ads, ad groups and campaigns.”

“The way the improvements are presented are great, and give an instant overview of what to prioritize. The ability to do the changes inside Opteo is also a delighter.”

Cons:

“But because we run ads for clients, we’re constrained by budget in most cases and can’t increase them at-will.”

“Some clients that have accounts with campaigns in different languages get spelling errors highlighted, when actually the spelling is correct in the chosen language (only happens in non-English).”

“The interface can take some getting used to and will stutter and hang from time to time. They also do not currently support PLA campaign adjustments besides discovering negative keywords.”

“Would like to see more negative keywords as this is still a small pain point.”

“Excellent Adwords tool for those who want to remain in control of bidding”

Pros:

This is like the Wordstream 20 minute work week only much easier to use – and ideal for those of us who spend more than 20 minutes working on our Adwords accounts a week, as suggestions come up once or multiple times a day, depending on which plan you choose. I found the bidding suggestions particularly useful, and it picks up ad misspellings and duplicates – even when you’ve got the same broad match keyword with a different word order in the account. I also love the suggestions on which ads to pause based on conversions per impression OR click through. It has a lot of great features actually. Support is great and gave me higher level suggestions on structuring my account. What I really love is that there is a forum where you can suggest new features and vote on them, and they have statuses on them so you can see what’s coming next. We tried automated bidding tools but didn’t have the huge conversion volumes required to see good results from those. We’d trialed Acquisio but I didn’t like how the bidding strategy was taken out of your hands, and setup was a nightmare – and even worse was disassociating my thousands of campaigns from the shared budgets their system set up – and support wouldn’t help. For accounts that have sufficient conversion volumes I’d likely use a combo of Opteo and Adspert which was our favourite bid automation tool, but for all of our accounts, big and small, Opteo has delivered good results for us regardless of the number of historical conversions.

Cons:

A few improvements could be made – campaigns and ad groups list doesn’t show up in alphabetical order, there could be a few more features – but I can see new features are regularly being developed. I’d love to see bid adjustment suggestions based on locations, and more frequent ad scheduling suggestions, but for the latter we likely don’t have enough data in our accounts anyway to make meaningful adjustments, so perhaps that feature does come up more regularly for bigger accounts.

“Best Tool To Automate Your Google Adwords Task”

What do you like best?

I really like this smart tool as it helps me optimize the google ads. It let me add keywords and provide suggestions on my campaigns. Google wants us to add costly components to the campaign and suggest that it will increase the clicks or impressions by some percentage but as I worked for a client, I have budget constrain and I can’t increase the budget at my will. Other than this, I am able to spend less time in google accounts while still provide better optimization quality for my client.

What do you dislike?

Opteo provides some suggestion on keywords which is not in context to user intent. I have to dismiss many times because the keywords do not match context with user intent. I understand there are other factors that could play and that is out of Opteo’s control. And every 24 hours, it gives suggested improvement which is not possible for me to go each and every day. There should be some schedule which we can plan.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Opteo has a free trial, you can try it & see for yourself. If you struggle with keeping up with day-to-day management tasks (e.g., bid management, keyword additions, campaign administration) then you should definitely opt for Opteo.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Keyword optimization becomes simple now. I provide one-click implementation and I don’t have to visit my google ad account daily to optimize my campaigns, ad sets or ads. I get daily suggestions for keywords and also suggestions for my ads. It provides me with an analysis of different ads and suggests me to stop one which is not working well. It saves a lot of time. Having all the numbers digested for me helps me saves time and effort.

Pros:

“Very easy to use. Just click, click, click, optimization done. For every optimization there is plenty of help and knowledge. Support responds really fast. Great price.”

“Fantastic user friendly interface. Excellent responsive customer support. Cuts hours of work down to minutes.”

“The tools, features and dashboard – so much useful information and tips. I really enjoy the interface.”

Cons:

“Though is a great tool to monitor and to support to overall performance improvements (campaign level), is not ideally to do more detailed improvements, i.e. ad group level, or keyword level.”

“It’s hard to say. But maybe the limit of account you can connect.”

“I love the simplicity, but if I had to put a finger on something, it would be that it isn’t Danish and therefore not suggesting spellingmistakes in Danish (I’m from Denmark)”

“What do we think?
So far we like it! It’s been designed by AdWords users for AdWords users, eliminating many of the daily and weekly challenges faced when managing multiple clients and campaigns. No more laborious Excel analysis, or pouring over manual changes and useless reports.

You can save time for other parts of your business while still nurturing client relationships, refining creative strategies, and developing effective campaigns.

Not only that Opteo will use its sophisticated algorithm to suggest real-time changes to your campaigns. You can be notified instantly of these and decide whether you want to make any changes.

You can optimize your campaigns instantly, and on-the-go, meaning that prioritize and planning is not only easier but it’s also more efficient, more effective, and it saves you money.”

What the Interwebs Say

Users are happy with how simple this tool is and how the suggestions helped them out, most of them also highlighted that it makes it very easy to explain to their clients what was the effect a specific Ad was having. Also, some users complimented the customer service saying that it felt like having a PPC expert on your own team. Cons came along mostly with the keywords suggestions that seemed a little off with the context and said some of the recommendations on the Ads were incorrect or redundant.
