“Needs more tailored functionality”

Overall: Overall, support has been great and helped us cross any hurdle. We have been able to setup some incredible dashboards that have helped us prove the value to all stakeholders.

Pros: I love the bulk functions and ease of setting up dashboards for reporting.

Cons: The interface could me a little easier to navigate and getting reports into Google Sheets is more difficult than other platforms.

“Marin Social – great for reporting usage.”

We liked how easy it is to set up A/B tests for keywords and ad copy. I think this was super beneficial for optimizing a paid search account. Has good features like budget projection. Intuitive interface. Great tool to use for automating reports. Easy to create campaign rules to meet performance. It’s easy to filter for exactly the metrics you care about seeing. I enjoy being able to compare campaigns and keywords from different engines side by side.

What do you dislike?

Unable to create rules for soft KPI campaigns such as click-through rate, cost-per-click and others. I also do not like how you cannot see today’s data/performance and have to wait until the next day. Layout is not always intuitive, customer service hours very limited.

What the Interwebs Say

Most of the users agree that automated bidding is the platform’s strongest feature. They also found bulk sheets, dashboards, and account management tools very useful and complimented how much time it saved them. However, some complained about the poor customer service and about how difficult it was to use some of the skills but recently they launched a new version that appears to be much more intuitive.
